Make the change as a Vulnerability Manager

The Vulnerability Manager will be joining the Luminor Cybersecurity unit, which is responsible for security operations, offensive security, vulnerability management and threat intelligence . The new joiner will help scan for vulnerabilities on all critical and non-critical Luminor assets, deploy sensors to enable scanning, follow officially approved vulnerability management procedures as well deal with increased scope of the vulnerability life cycle in general.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Mainly work with enterprise vulnerabilities
  • Perform information system security vulnerability scanning to discover and analyze vulnerabilities and characterize risks to networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components
  • Perform compliance scanning to analyze configurations and facilitate implementation of configurations and hardening settings for networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components
  • Coordinate activities with other stakeholders to ensure overall quality & timeliness of deliverables
  • Communicate security and compliance issues in an effective and appropriate manner
  • Recommend appropriate remedial actions to mitigate risks and ensure information systems employ appropriate level of information security controls
  • Expand and improve the quality and efficiency of our vulnerability management program
  • Establish key risk indicators, improving quality, and reducing delivery time for services

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Technical understanding of network fundamentals and common Internet protocols
  • Knowledge of server and workstation technologies and platforms
  • Knowledge of Nessus, Qualys Guard
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems, driving solutions through to completion
  • Technical understanding of the information security threat landscape (attack vectors and tools, best practices for securing systems and networks)
