Brief role description

The focus will be on 2 main development streams:

  • Implementation of modern digital banking platform
  • Consolidation and modernization (complete rework) of legacy IT portfolio

This role will focus on implementation of modern digital banking platform.

The role is hybrid of EA/SA/Analyst with elements of Project Management. Approx. time dedication (total 100%) to different roles (might change according to demand):

  • Enterprise Architecture - up to 10%;
  • Project Management – up to 10%;
  • Solution Architecture – up to 60%;
  • Analytical Services – up to 20%;


The expected assignment responsibilities:

  • IT Security Architect for New Bank Platform: develop Security Architecture for new digital bank platform;
  • Identity Architect: establish Client/Partner/Employee IAM strategy, roadmap and components;
  • API Security and Integrations Architect: establish API security model and management framework, Integrations security principles and models, etc.;
  • Applications Security Architect: establish business applications security principles and requirements (technical controls, audit trail, etc.)
  • CI/CD: proactive/agile secure development strategies and related processes (DevSecOps) and solution architectures, etc.

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of corporate IT Security portfolio and related services;
  • Provide IT Security Architecture and Analytics services for Information Security and IT value chains;
  • Pioneer and Pilot new Information and IT Security solutions and controls;
  • Develop functional and non-functional IT security requirements;
  • Perform Analysis of effectiveness of Information and IT Security controls;
  • Perform Risk Analysis and Management activities;
  • Provide IT Security awareness;

Required experience

Implementation of modern digital banking platform would require competence in following areas (but not limited):

  • Open Bank architecture;
  • Open Data architecture;
  • Business Systems Integrations (B2B, etc.);
  • API security;
  • Transaction security;
  • Data protection;
  • Application security;
  • Client/Partner/Employee IAM;
  • Sensitive data security and handling (DAR/DIT/DIU/Retention);
  • Regulatory requirements and related standards (GDPR, PSD2, etc.)

Practical experience with following technology is considered as huge advantage:

  • Enterprise Service Bus (any commercial or open-source);
  • Message Brokers (any commercial or open-source);
  • File Brokers (any commercial or open-source);
  • Message Queue (any commercial or open-source);
  • Stream Processing (any commercial or open-source);
  • API Gateways/Proxies (any commercial or open-source);
  • Enterprise Integration Patterns;
  • Business Software Architecture (including related security frameworks);
  • Senior level programming skills (Java, etc.);
  • Banking portfolio transformation experience of a lifetime!
